"It is remarkable how many lives were touched by the beautiful musical gifts and gentle personality of Dave Kellie. He was a favorite entertainer of my mother and many other residents at Westside Health Center, where he performed regularly. Dave's talents will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Sincere condolences to his family. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

"David told me several times, "I'm just a piano player." But I feel nothing could be farther from the truth. For many he was a friend and comforter. He was a little bit of sunshine in an otherwise dismal week. His songs always told a story. His life also told a story, one of giving to others, even when he was hurting himself. He told me many times how he felt Sandy was the best thing that ever happened to him and how much he loved his girls. I know he could be a grouch sometimes but he always got over it and blessed the ones he was upset with. He was my friend and I will always appreciate how he blessed my life."
"Dick and I will miss you. We grew up together from first grade through graduation. Remember you playing the piano when we were in grade school; all the popular songs of that time and you never needed to look at music. That was amazing. You were so talented and upbeat. Even last summer when we had that long phone conversation. We wish the best to your family."
"Ron and I met Dave and Sandy thirteen short years ago when they became our neighbors. It wasn't long before I realized what a privilege it was to have them as neighbors and soon to be good friends. Dave was one of those rare people that you knew you would like after meeting him for the first time. He has been a blessing to many as he shared his love for the Lord and his talent as a piano player not just a piano player but a talented musician. My family was blessed to have him play at several of our family celebrations. He is loved and will be missed by many. With a heavy heart I send you my sympathies and my prayers."
