He was a little bit of sunshine in an otherwise dismal week. His songs always told a story. His life also told a story, one of giving to others, even when he was hurting himself. He told me many times how he felt Sandy was the best thing that ever happened to him and how much he loved his girls. I know he could be a grouch sometimes but he always got over it and blessed the ones he was upset with. He was my friend and I will always appreciate how he blessed my life."
