Condolence & Memory Journal

Larry it doesn't seem as though a year has passed since your departure. I still think of you my friend. Remembering the times the three of us (you, me, and Steve Heddington) spent in Lemoore during our drill weekends. How we always called Steve our Mother Hen because he always had a reason why we shouldn't order that for dinner. Yes my friend I still think of you. Hope that one day we meet again.

You were a great friend in school and on Front and Spring Streets where we lived in Mishawaka. My wife Margie and My brother John (CPO ret). Are already there. Perhaps you will see them. I was looking forward to seeing you at the next class reunion. However, "Rest in Peace Chief", and I'll see all y'all bye and bye.

Larry and I served together in VFA-303 at Lemoore California. We were very good friends and often got together after he retired and I still continued in the squadron. We lost touch after he moved to Pismo Beach and I returned to Indiana. How I wish I had known that he returned to Indiana also. Rest in Peace my good friend. Mike Probst
