Richard Allen Wilson
73 of Indianapolis, IN passed away March 7, 2017. He was born on April 25, 1943 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Arthur Wilson and Bertha Redfern. Richard was a Finisher at Herff Jones for over 38 years when he retired. Richard loved his family and worked very hard and was very determined to provide for them, sometimes working multiple jobs to take care of their needs. He loved to read books about Cowboys and watching Cowboy Movies. Richard loved all types of sports and was an accomplished Euchre player. Richard is survived by his wife, Karen S. Wilson, children, Julie (Bruce) Dorsett, Kelly Wells, Jason Wilson, Christopher (Amanda) Wilson, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a sister, Penny Oakey. Services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 12 PM @ Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory-Chapel of the Chimes with visitation held there Friday, March 10th 4-8 PM. He will be laid to rest at New Crown Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association.

May our Lord be with my uncle Rick and his family during this very trying time. I have very fond memories of my only uncle and will keep him in my prayers always.
