Stephen J. Speer, passed away June 8, 2017. He was born September 2, 1947 to Duard "Sam" and Hope (Carleton) Speer in Indianapolis, IN. Stephen worked at CarQuest as a salesman and was a member of BNI. He is survived by his father, Sam Speer; daughter, Laura (David) Mavertic; brother, Mark (Kim) Speer; sister, Judy Speer; and grandchildren Vivian and Niko Mavertic. He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel Speer; and mother, Hope Speer. Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday June 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior to service at Wilson St Pierre Funeral Service – Stirling Gerber Chapel 5950 E. Thompson Rd. Indianapolis, IN.

Went to school with Steve. Very Nice guy. Ran into him a several years back at Madison Indiana at the Chatagua of the Arts Festival and talked to him at that time. Sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed! Judy Allen
