Condolence & Memory Journal
Lisa was a great volunteer at the Indianapolis Zoo. She was usually found in front of the elephant exhibit sharing her deep love for elephants. She taught me so much. Lisa will be missed. Sally Zelonis, friend and former employee of the Zoo.

I had the pleasure of reuniting with Lisa at our 30 year high school reunion. I have known Lisa since we were little at MacArthur Elementary. My mom was a volunteer in her class. Lisa showed me and my friend the best tour of the Indianapolis Zoo that I had ever experienced. She had such an in depth knowledge of the animals and their histories it was fantastic! My prayers are with you all and I look forward to seeing Lisa again in heaven doing all the things she could not here on earth.

Lisa, I will never forget our times together when we were kids. Our many, many trips to the mall, cuz that's what we did in the 80's, our late night sleepovers, Michael Vs. Prince, all of our high school crushes, long daily phone chats about everything. Your immense heart and willingness to laugh so hard you'd cry. Your incredible creativity. There is more. You were a true inpiration and blessing on this earth. Love you sister, forever.
