Albert Anthony "Tony" Bantle
75 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 2, 2018. He was born to the late Alfons and Rosa (Flaig) Bantle in Indianapolis, IN on March 10, 1942. Tony proudly served his country in the U S Army and his patriotism for our country grew ever so strong from his service. He was described by his family as a devoted husband, hardworking, charitable, loyal and honest man. Tony was said to thoroughly enjoy many of the Talk News Radio Networks daily and an active conservative . He enjoyed coin collecting and staying up on current events. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice J. (Helms) Bantle, daughters, Heidi (Attila) Jeney, Michelle Bantle, stepchildren, Emma Lawson, Nancy Knoy, grandchildren, Connor, Sydney,Chelsea, Cortnee, Karl, Jonathon, Katie, Brittany, Lynn, Ashley and great grandchildren, Kyle and Emily, his sisters Hilda (Gordon)Lowell, Erika (James) Smith, Martha (John)Szostak and his brother, Eric Bantle. Albert is preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Jamie Scruggs and brother, Paul Bantle. Services are set for Monday, January 8th, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church, 1530 Union St. Indianapolis, IN 46225. He will be in state at 9:00and the funeral mass will start at 10am. A luncheon will be held immediately following the mass at the church hall, 1125 S.Meridian. Arrangements are entrusted to the Cremation Society of Indiana at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory -Chapel of the Chimes.
