Tribute & Message From The Family

Mary Lee Brown, of Pittsboro, Indiana passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. She was 84 years old. Mary was born in Indianapolis on May 6, 1933 to Theodore Edward Eviston and Barbara Shulke. She married the love of her life, Donald Brown on August 11, 1951, and raised two children together. Mary was a purchasing agent for J.C. Penny company until her retirement in 1982. She then owned, and operated Albany Street Crafts for many years. Mary was an avid reader. She loved to do cross stitching, and travel to Florida. Mary's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brother, John Edward Eviston, and grandson Joseph Brown. She is survived by her husband, Donald; son Thomas E. Brown (Cindy); daughter, Donna Fraker (David); sister Barbara Jackson; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Services for Mary are Monday, April 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson St. Pierre-Chapel of the Chimes, 1234 Prospect St. Indianapolis 46203 with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place at Floral Park Cemetery.

We were neighbor's of the Browns when I was growing up. Remember Mary being so sweet. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
