Josephine Risk, of Indianapolis passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019. She was 84 years old. Josephine was born on November 10, 1934 in Hopewell, Indiana to the late Wood L. and Esther Baker. After graduating from high school she worked for many years as an accounting clerk for J.C. Penny. In addition to her parents, Josephine is preceded in death by her late husband of 48 years, Robert "Bob" Risk who passed away May 20, 1998. Josephine was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Acton Chapter of The Order of the Eastern Star, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the U.S.O. at Camp Atterbury. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and going out for dinner with family and friends. Most of all Josephine loved spending time with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a son, Greg Risk (Myla); daughter, Brenda Roe (Bob); grandchildren, April Risk Arnett (C.W.), Jacob Risk, Johannah Risk Sims (Chris), and Austin Roe; great-grandchildren Augustus Risk Arnett, Gideon Sims and Jocelyn Arnett; along with one sister, Suscelia Bowling. Services for Josephine Risk will be Thursday, September, 26 at 12:00 noon at St. John Lutheran Church, 6630 Southeastern Ave., Indpls, IN. 46203 with visitation at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Entombment will be private at Washington Park East Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Franklin Township Chapel.

I know it's kind of late to acknowledge this, but we were on vacation with our son and his family when your mom passed. I'm so sorry for your loss, I know what you're still going through. The only good thing is that our parents are in a better place now
