Tribute & Message From The Family

Born third and last to doting parents Marianne and Dan Hollibaugh, Pamela Cheshire, possessed what most youngest siblings enjoy -unfair preferential treatment over their older siblings! She spent her youth in Carmel, Indiana at the family's horse farm and spent lazy summer days at lake Wawasee. An effervescent charm was born in Pam that followed and guided her throughout her lifetime. Pam developed what can only be defined as a rebellious streak throughout her schooling at Orchard and later Ladywood high school in Indianapolis. Pursuing a nursing degree and a carefree existence Pam found herself in Florida- sand between her toes -where she lived for a brief time quite content. Fate interceded and Pam would meet her missing piece and future husband, Ron Cheshire thus entering "the golden years" of her life. During these precious years wonderful memories were made with cherished friends chalk full of quick witted quips, love, and laughter. Ongoing ailments kept her from career prospects. Instead she kept an inviting and impeccable home full of very spoiled cats and dogs. Like her mom she was an exceptional hostess and excellent cook and loved to entertain especially in the "cantina" sunroom at home. If you knew Pam you knew laughter. Even through great pain she wasn't far from a punch line or a little twinkle of innocent mischief. What they say about the brightest stars is true. They burn the brightest and the quickest. Rest in peace.Pam was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her husband Ron, son Dennis, sister Missy (Art), sister in law Sharon Strother, nephews Matt and Nick and Joe and Danny and treasured friends. If you choose, a donation to any Humane Society would honor her great love of animals. Services for Pam are Saturday, January 11 at Wilson St. Pierre funeral Service and Crematory-Franklin Township Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with a gathering from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

Condolence & Memory Journal

Pam we were best friends for 53 years. I can not imagine my life without you but I guess it will be a crash course. I will miss our 2 hour phone calls and all the fun memories/troubles we got ourselves into. Love you so much. Susan, Jan 11, 2020

As they say in Show Biz: Here's to the memories. One New Years Eve over a steaming bowl of mussels and champagne, Pam quipped "When I get to heaven, I'll be an angel on a trapeze among the stars.
Always a smile and a twinkle. Thank you for the memories. Love Sue
