Condolence & Memory Journal

Rich was a co-worker of mine at The Aurora Paperboard Company, but more than that he was a mentor, helping me get started in a career in the paper industry. I considered him a friend. After he left the company, we stayed in touch for a few years, but we lost track of each other after I was transferred to another mill. I am retired now and found Rich's name in some old files and thought I would try to locate him. Sadly, and tragically, I am too late. My condolences to everyone in the family. May your fond memories of him carry you through the difficult times ahead.

To Lacy Nicholson who left a message here on Jan. 8th: I cannot tell you how much your note meant to me. My sister and I want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for assisting help to my dad on that night, and for being with him when he passed. It gives us great comfort knowing he was not alone. God bless you! His daughters Jenny & Tammy

I did not know this man personally, but this accident happened right outside my house. We heard the accident and I ran over and started to check him. I administered CPR until the ambulance got there. He did not pass alone. I'm so sorry for your loss.
