Although I didnt get to be around Randys dad as much as my sisters, he was always welcoming and had such a spiritual and loving spirit about him. He was a gentle soul with a beautiful smile. These are many of the traits I see in his son Randy! God bless this family man who adored his wife and loved his children so much!

Don and Melba were our amazing neighbors for 27 years. They were like parents to me as mine lived so far away. In fact, this day has special meaning as my own mother passed away on this day 13 years ago on Earth Day! Don helped with so many things around our home over the years. He could fix and do anything and was always happy to help us. My fondest memory is knowing that we had the most wonderful neighbors! I will always be thankful for the time I had with Don!

Don inspired Rick and Randy to be the master carpenters they are today. I have never met anyone with more patience than him. My best memory was in the mid 80's when he was always around helping Randy build his current house. He will be missed....

I truly feel blessed to have known Don. His sweet and gentle ways are inspirational. I see so many of his praiseworthy traits in Randy and his siblings, and I feel Dons spirit will live on in all of them. My sister Sherrie was blessed and fortunate to marry into such a loving family led by such a devoted couple as Don and Melba. Don will be missed by anyone who knew him, and his family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Don was a Great Man. He was always there when someone needed help. He was a very hard worker and a good Father. Thanks Don for being someone I looked up too. You will be missed.

My husband, Bob, and I have had the privilege of knowing Don Burgett for the past several years. My sister, Sherrie, is Randys wife; and so we were able to spend many special occasions with Don and Melba. Don always treated us like family. When I think of him, I think of his gentle nature and sweet smile. I truly do think he would have given the shirt off his back to anyone who needed a hand! We are terribly sorry about the loss of such an important person in the Burgett family, but I think we all take comfort knowing that this gentle soul is resting in heaven, at peace at last! May God give the family strength at this difficult time. We love you!❤
