Thinking of you especially a lot today as I leave memories on Uncle Jim's page too. I hope you're having a beer together. I miss you every single day.

For my brother Walter he was, without a doubt, the best brother anyone could ever be blessed to have. That I could be that person, had to be the will of the GOOD lord, He will forever be in my memory. He will never be gone, Brother Jim "B"

This is the face you'd usually see from him in pictures - he wasn't particularly fond of having photos snapped of him willy-nilly, so he always got kinda silly. This was at his 87th birthday.

You'd be spitting mad to hear me say this but I'd give ten years of my life for five more minutes with you, and trade myself for you and your good health in a heartbeat. I know you wouldn't want that, though. It would make you mad. I miss you every second of every day and the world feels wrong without you in it. I love you so much.

"Uncle Walter will always be a very special person in my life. He always took time to ask how I was doing and truly cared. The measure of a person is seen in those he influences and associates with. When you examine Walter's Family, you see honest, hardworking, loving people in abundanceUncle Walter and Aunt Marguerite have inspired a truly wonderful Family. Uncle Walter will always be remembered as the loving and devoted Husband, Father, and Friend that we all have had the privilege to know.

I will always remember Papaw as a very special person, a kindhearted, caring, and generous man, and a sweet and funny guy. He was a man of few words, and he was very wise and an excellent judge of character.

He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. I have so many happy memories with him, and I will cherish them forever.

I will always be your Eli. Words cannot be found to explain how I feel. Just know that we will take what you have taught us, and continue it on through family and the generations. Rest knowing that we will take care of Mom. I love you. GoBANGO Daddy.
