So very sorry! Carrie and I taught across the hall from each other at school #81. She was a dedicated teacher and I enjoyed working with her. She was a master teacher!

Carrie was a sweet lady that I worked with at Clintong Young. I enjoyed talking and eating lunch with her. She was a wise women with such a big heart. She would do anything for anyone, especially her students. I will cherish the special gift she gave me, a vintage ceramic Christmas tree. It is one of a kind, just like Carrie.

Carrie was a very special sister, to Anna,my best friend of 52 plus years. She was loved and thought of dearly. The angels are singing in heaven, where they have taken her home. A space has been saved for her by the throne. She'll still be teaching and be caring too. Here on earth Carrie, we will be missing you.

Thinking of you with love and Anna and her family too. So loved were you. God chose to take you home, no more pain, only happiness will remain. Heaven is where we will see her again. You've been made well again. You'll see those in your family who have gone on before. We will miss you forever more. Another angel has won her wings. Today heaven's choir will sing. A sister's love is most dear. We will miss you, Carrie from down here.

We were very blessed to have Carrie in our lives. She made an enormous impact in my sons life while at IPS #81. We continued as friends and doggie pals for years. She will always remain with us through many wonderful memories we shared.

Carrie was a generous spirit! I worked with her at Clinton Young Elementary. She knitted hats and scarves and gifts for different groups in our school. She supported teachers and staff with positive input and thoughts. I could go on and on. She was a blessing and a joy! Prayers for her family and friends at this time.

I was lucky enough to meet Carrie at School 81 early in our careers. I reconnected with her through mutual friends and enjoyed having lunches with all of them. She will be missed by all of us.

Carrie was a dear friend to me for many years. Beginning at Central Catholic where we first met and taught together for 5years. Then in IPS for many more years together. Her dry sense of humor was a thing of beauty. Carrie was an amazing teacher, but mostly a kind soul who will be missed. I was blessed to have known her.
