Mari Kay Darche 85, of Wanamaker, passed away December 27, 2021. She was born December 21, 1936 to the late Montelle and Rhea Heminger in Paris, Il. Mari Kay was a dedicated member of Nativity Catholic Church. She was a devoted Mom and homemaker, a jack of all trades, there truly was nothing she could not do. She took pride in making her house a home and being able to stay home and raise her three children. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her infectious laugh, love of fun and her zest for life. She always had a smile on her face and a joke on her lips. She especially loved her role as Granny. She enjoyed the many late night sleepovers with her grandchildren including card games, popcorn and of course there was always room for dessert.
