Claude Lepine, 78, of Greenwood, IN, passed away on Friday afternoon, October 14, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
Claude was born on December 11, 1937 in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada to the late Armand Lepine and the late Marguerite Mercier Lepine. On April 25, 1959, he married the love of his life, Suzanne Marie Reine Paquet Lepine, who survives. He worked as a service technician for Nortel Telephone of Canada while living in Indiana, as well as General Telephone Company in California for many years. In 1978, Claude and Suzanne moved their family to Indiana. He enjoyed watercolor painting, playing the piano, gardening, and building. Claude was a very devoted Catholic. He was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Indianapolis. He attended daily mass, studied the lives of the saints, and prayed often with his faithful wife. Claude was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Suzanne Lepine, his children, Annette Termini (John) of Granada Hills, CA, Frank Lepine of Indianapolis, Ellen Henke of Greenwood and Katie Ingram (Robbie) of Indianapolis; eleven grandchildren, who were truly the light of his life, Jimmy, Kristen, Danielle, Sabrina, Sarah, Melissa, Preston, Trent, Marcel, Bridgette and Reid; four brothers, Lionel, Hubert, Louis and Francoise Lepine; two sisters, Suzanne and Marie Lepine; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Claude was preceded in death by a brother Pierre and a sister Colette,and a son-in-law, Rob Henke.
A funeral mass for Claude Lepine will take place on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Barnabas Catholic Church 8300 Rahke Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46217. The family will receive guests in the narthex of the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Services and Crematory, 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood, IN has been entrusted with arrangements for Mr. Lepine.
Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home.
