83 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away August 13, 2016. Dolores was born on October 7, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Charles William and Gladys (Wolf) Bear. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1951. Dolores was a member of Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church for many years and was active in the choir, playing the organ for many years. She was also active in the Catholic Center with Senior Companion Program. Dolores was a LPN and worked for St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove for 15 years retiring in 1992.


Dolores is survived by her children, Gayle (Tony) Wray, Greg Gibson, Lori (Ed) Westerfield; sister, Betty Little; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Alex, Crystal, Andrew, Ryleigh, Brandy, Jason, Josh, Courtney; eight great grandchildren, Isaiah, Lilah, Jordan, Destiney, Brittney, Brandon, Brody and Harper and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Laffin.


A mass will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, August 17 at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church 335 S. Meridian St. Greenwood, IN with visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana. Memorial contributions can be made to Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America and or online at www.stayclassy.org/DoloresBear.
