Fredrick "Jay" Campbell, 84, of Greenwood, Indiana; a loving husband and father died on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Jay was born in Arcanum, Ohio, to Keith and Ruby Campbell on March 7, 1937. Jay was indeed an Indiana native raised in Geneva, Indiana. He was a graduate of Geneva High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana Central in 1959, and a master's degree from Ball State in 1966. Jay started his career as a beloved teacher and coach in 1959 in the Perry Township School System. Jay also taught and coached at New Palestine High School and Whiteland High School. He then returned to Perry Township at Southport High School, and then at Perry Meridian High School as a guidance counselor and coach where he ultimately retired in 1999. He was a member of the Rosedale Hills United Methodist Church.

Jay is survived by his wife of 63 years, Fran Campbell; one brother, Howard Kim Campbell of Arizona; two sons, Blaine Campbell of Birmingham, Alabama and Brian (Debbie) Campbell, as well as three grandchildren, Gabbie, Brady, and Cooper Campbell, all of Franklin, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory - Greenwood Chapel on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 5:00 P.M. with visitation from 2:00 PM until time of service. Burial with graveside service will be held at Westlawn Cemetery in Geneva, Indiana on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory - Greenwood Chapel.
