Kenneth "Wino" Winecoff

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his girls Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the age of 74. He was born on February 13th 1946 in Beech Grove to the late Kenneth E. and Betty L. (Wallace) Winecoff. After graduating from Center Grove High school (Class of 1964) where he proudly played football, Kenny joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country for 4 years and was honorably discharged January of 1970. He was a member of the American Legion Post 355, Beech Grove Lodge #694, F&AM, Indiana Patriot Guard Riders, American Legion Riders and the Indianapolis Scottish Rite. Kenny worked for Indiana Bell for 31 years where he met his wife of 35 years, Janet (Lathrop) Winecoff.

He loved to fish with his friends and ride his Harley Davidson. He was an exquisite cook! Nothing made Kenny happier than to make someone laugh and put a smile on their face and to prepare a wonderful meal.

Kenny was survived by his loving wife, Janet "Lathrop" Winecoff; daughter, Terri "Winecoff" Means and family, niece, Megan Pearson-Motley and family and sister Shirley "Winecoff" Frazier and family, along with an abundance of great friends. He will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew him.

A private visitation and service will be held at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana with military honors.

All services and visitations are limited to 25 people or less. Masks are mandatory and are to be worn at all times.
