Michael Ray Cobb passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 23, 2020 in Indianapolis, IN.

Mike was born in Yakima, WA to Raymond and Barbara Cobb. He was the second of two children born to Ray and Barb. Mike spent his early years in the Yakima area.

Mike attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Following graduation, Mike moved to Seattle, WA where he would spend the next 36 years.

Mike began his business career at Dunn & Bradstreet. In 1974 he was employed by American Red Ball International where he spent 46 years and became Vice President of Military Operations in the Seattle, WA. In 2006 he was employed by Indianapolis, IN the sister company Red Ball Forwarders and initiated a successful startup of the International Division and was the Vice President. Mike has always been an icon for the moving industry where he was on the Executive Committee for International Association of Movers.

In 1976 Mike and Barbara began their family life and had 2 sons Tyler and Lucas.

Mike was a devoted and loving father. As his kids grew up, he would spend nearly every spring and summer coaching their little league teams. Both sons would end up playing little league baseball from tee-ball up until high school – with many of those years being coached by Mike. Outside of baseball, he supported and encouraged Tyler and Lucas to follow their passions which included skateboarding, music, art, and aviation. Mike frequently sacrificed his mornings and evenings by dropping his kids at school for early music classes.

Debra worked for American Red Ball and knew Mike for 19.5 years as a working associate. Their lives connected through work and in 2005 he moved to Indianapolis where he told his friends he had met a "Love of A Lifetime" they were married on July 15, 2006.

Mike and Debbie loved to travel. One of Mike's favorite places was where he spent his honeymoon with Debbie at Aventura Palace, Riviera Maya, Mexico. They went on to travel Germany, Hawaii, San Diego, New York, Denver, Florida, Puerto Rico, and the list is endless. They also traveled to the industry conventions for work and that meant getting to see his international's friends.

Mike and Debbie loved going back home to Seattle to be with his parents, brother, 2 sons and 3 adorable perfect grandchildren. He loved spending holidays with the family and celebrating by getting dressed up and going out to dinner. He enjoyed being with family and friends where he was always the life of the party and was the last to go home.
