Terry Ray Coleman, 57, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018, after fighting heart failure and a series of strokes for more than eight years.
He was born on August 12, 1960 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, to the late Nathan J. and Helene Carlin (Waddle) Coleman.

He was preceded in death by his identical twin brother, Larry Jay Coleman, who died less than a year ago after having surgery for colon cancer.
Terry graduated from Martinsville High School with the class of 1979 and retired from The Barbara Jordan YMCA, Martinsville. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing baseball, bowling, fishing and had formerly coached various sports at the YMCA. Additionally, Terry enjoyed golfing at The Martinsville Golf Club and gambling (especially winning) at the riverboats in southern Indiana.

He leaves behind his two sisters, Vallerie (husband, Mike) Hackett and Debbie Shuck, both of Greenwood, his brother, Garry Coleman (Greenwood), his two nieces Sarah Shuck (San Diego) and Jodi Shuck (Indianapolis) and his nephews Joshua Shuck (Indianapolis), Jesse Wheat (wife, Iriene-Indianapolis), Justin Graham (wife, Sarah and son Ross James-Greenwood), Landon Hackett (wife, Crystal-Greenwood) and Colby Hackett (Greenwood).
Terry's family would like to thank all of Terry's friends and co-workers for all of the love and support they provided to Terry during his long struggle with the serious health issues that eventually claimed his life.

Terry's family would also like to thank Martin Balaski, NP, Community Hospital Heart Failure Clinic, for the excellent care he and his staff provided to Terry which extended both the length and quality of his life. Also, thanks to Greenwood Family Health and Living and Country Charm Assisted Community Living for the daily care they provided Terry.

Terry will be cremated with a private service.
