Obituary

Wanda Milner Winburn, 94, of Greenwood, IN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Greenwood Village South Pavilion. She was born January 19, 1927, to Davis and Hazel (Stewart) Milner in Indianapolis.

Wanda received her B.A. degree from Olivet Nazarene University and her M.S. degree from Butler University. She taught in Indianapolis as a Weekday Religious Educator for nearly 10 years, and then for Greenwood Community Schools for 30 years. Writing Sunday School and Children's Church curriculum for three publishing companies kept her busy for much of her life.

She married Arthur Winburn on November 21, 1981. Wanda was a member of Community Church of Greenwood where she sang in the choir. Presently she was a member of Southland Community Church. She led Bible Studies and was the founding leader of Anna's Circle, a support group for widows. She was dedicated to getting and educating people for God.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Jan (Larry) Llewellen; niece, Carol McKeithen, and step grandchildren. Her husband, Art, and stepdaughter, Anna Singleton preceded her in death.

Services for Wanda are Thursday, August 26 at 1:00 PM at Southland Community Church, 5800 W. Smith Valley Rd., Greenwood, IN. 46142. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery following the service. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Greenwood Chapel.
